Since I've been a professional gear tester for nearly a decade, the question of what I use often comes up. I've always been opposed to giving an "Editor's Choice" in articles because it overly influences what people choose for themselves — that stamp-of-apprvoal logo does more harm than good. Also, I'm often testing new gear so what I use depends on the day. However, I do have favorites and old stand-bys that I tend to go back to.
