Juval is probably the only castle in Europe with Tibetan prayer flags and a chorten (a prayer monument - the square base represents earth, the next level is water, the finial is both fire and the 13 steps to Enlightenment, and the half-moon symbol is wind and sun).

Entering the castle through the main gate tower (lower center), you pass by an enormous carved deity who keeps out evil spirits and can spin prayer wheels.
